(Sioux City, Iowa) - The 2026 Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) Baseball All-Conference team has been announced after a vote of league coaches. The 2026 GPAC All-Conference Team consists of a first-team, second-team and an honorable mention list along with a gold glove team.
(Crete, NE) – #8-seed Hastings faced #1-seed Doane for the third time in the GPAC tournament and seventh time in the last two weeks, this time for a chance to play in Monday’s GPAC Tournament Final. Doane never trailed in the game, winning 9-2.
(Crete, NE) – Playing #1-seed Doane for the second time in the GPAC Tournament, this time for the chance to go to the GPAC Tournament final on Monday. The Broncos held an early 3-0 lead, but a six-run sixth inning by Doane turned the game around, as the Tigers won 14-5.
(Crete, NE) – The Hastings Broncos advanced to the Doane Bracket GPAC Championship game, thanks to a terrific pitching performance by senior Markus Miller, pitching a complete game shutout in the 7-0 win over Briar Cliff. Hastings will play in their first GPAC Site final since 2015 tomorrow at noon.

Each semester, the NAIA Scholar‑Athlete list celebrates student‑athletes who excel in both academic and athletic arenas. This honor recognizes student-athletes in each of the spring sports who have excelled academically, including baseball, softball, golf, lacrosse, track & field, tennis, flag football, beach volleyball and men's volleyball.
(Crete, NE) – In their first game of the GPAC Tournament, #8-seed Hastings rallied to take down #1-seed Doane, 7-5, on Wednesday, marking the first Bronco GPAC Tournament win since 2018.
(Hastings, NE) – Wrapping up the 2026 regular season, Hastings played game one of a doubleheader against Concordia on Saturday, freshman pitcher Cameron Dahlgren held Concordia to one run in a 3-1 complete game one win. The win guarantees Hastings’ first GPAC Tournament appearance since 2021. Game two of the series has been postponed until further notice.
(Sioux Center, IA) – The Hastings baseball team won a high-scoring, back-and-fourth game one, 21-12, then lost 13-3 in game two.
(Hastings, NE) – Facing Doane on day two of the four-game series on Sunday, the Broncos forced extra innings in game one before losing 10-2, then fell 4-3 in a tight game two contest.
(Hastings, NE) – On the first day of Bronco Baseball Family Weekend, Hastings lost game one to Doane, 13-9, and game two, 10-6.
(Sioux City, Iowa) – The Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) announced that Evan Morrison has been named the Baseball Player of the Week for April 6-12, 2026.
(Forest City, IA) – On day two of a four-game series against Waldorf on Sunday, the Broncos began with a 10-6 loss in game one. In the 21-10 game two win, junior Evan Morrison hit two home runs, with the second being his 12th of the season – breaking the single-season school record. The 21 runs in game two is the most runs scored by the Broncos since 2016.
(Forest City, IA) – In the first two games of the four-game series at Waldorf, the Broncos lost 2-1 in game one and 17-5 in game two.
(Fremont, NE) – Facing the Midland Warriors in a doubleheader on Monday, Hastings scored the first nine runs in their 9-2 game one victory and came back from a 6-2 deficit by scoring five runs in the sixth to win game two, 7-6.
(Hastings, NE) – On a cold and breezy day, Hastings scored in all but one inning of the back-and-forth game one, winning 12-8. Mount Marty got an early lead and while Hastings tied it briefly, Mount Marty managed to win game two, 7-5.
(Hastings, NE) – Playing at Northwestern on day two of the four-game series, the Hastings baseball team fell 6-2 in game one. In game two with a 4-3 lead, the Broncos scored six runs in the ninth, including a grand slam by junior Levi Fletcher, leading to the 10-3 win.
